Body-focused techniques without touch
Our body-focused sessions are tailored to your individual needs, with no expectation or rush for you to receive bodywork or acupuncture.
We offer a wide variety of techniques that help you explore and cultivate a new, empowered relationship with your body, at a pace that feels right for you.
Sessions may involve grounding, stretching, breathe work, movement or guided self-massage.
With the option of exploring these practices seated, standing or lying down on the massage table or futon.
Self-care recommendations can be incorporated, offering dietary guidance or movement practices to explore between sessions.
Trauma-Informed Shiatsu Bodywork
Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork style that includes awareness of body posture, breathe work, massage and gentle stretching.
Our trauma-informed practitioners prioritise a client-centred approach, ensuring that each session is gentle, supportive and collaborative.
We recognise that your experience is unique, and so is your treatment. Each session is personalised to meet your specific needs, moving at a pace that feels comfortable and right for you.
Sessions may involve symptom relief from embodied stress, explore how your body responds to the external world or build on your relationship to touch.

Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine for Embodied Trauma
Chinese Medicine incorporates the use of acupuncture, cupping, massage & herbal medicine to help support symptoms of dysregulation in the body. Here is how we can help:
Personalised care: We take a comprehensive look at your needs using Chinese medicine principles to form diagnosis and develop a tailored treatment plan over an eight week period.
Acupuncture: We apply sterile single use needles to stimulate a neurovascular response. Regulating the function of Qi, blood and body fluids with the aim to calm your nervous system and support sleep, gut health and tension.
Herbal Medicine: Custom herbal medicine tailored to your individual needs, designed to be taken throughout the week for ongoing support between sessions.
Trauma Informed Practitioners: We hold a space for you to control the room, allowing for a greater sense of safety and autonomy as you work towards your health goals.

It is recommended to wear something relaxed and comfortable as you will remain fully clothed in these sessions.

Touch is not required to occur in session. We focus on your main aim and with that aim we can suggest a variety of options from grounding, stretching, breathing, movement or guided self-massage. If touch might be something you are working towards, we do this at your pace.

Each session is individualised to your aims with the modality of your choosing. One week you might wish to explore touch through Shiatsu body-work, whereas another week you might like to explore your aims with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
