Jess is an experienced practitioner of Chinese Medicine who has been supporting the health of Melbourne’s Inner West for over 10 years.
As the founder of MACHI Health, she brings a grounded, compassionate approach to her work, combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and shiatsu bodywork to support and improve health outcomes for her local community.
Her clinical focus is in women’s health and gender diverse reproductive care, grounded in an awareness of how systemic stress, trauma, and structural inequality impact the body, health outcomes, and access to care.
She creates a space where people feel safe, supported, and gently reconnected to their bodies — through education, body literacy, and a softer way of relating to symptoms.
Recognising the impacts of modern day stress and the pervasive influence that it has on the whole body (such as gut health, skin, sleep, fertility and pain), she works closely with all patients to tailor treatments aimed at improving overall wellbeing.
Her leading areas of interest include:
Stress: acute, chronic and traumatic.
Chronic and multi-system conditions: fibromyalgia, POTS, CFS, IBS, thyroid health and nervous system support.
Reproductive health conditions: Endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, pelvic pain and PMDD.
Fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care and menopause.
Beyond her private practice, Jess works with corporate and government settings, including victim support services, onsite workplace clinics, and volunteer programs, offering care to people from all walks of life.
To increase access to care, Jess runs a monthly community clinic, offering affordable acupuncture treatments to help remove barriers and create a more inclusive model of care.
